The Swiss national selection will take place on Saturday 14 November 2020 at Technorama in Winterthur. The four selected teams will go to Prague for the European festival in 2022.

Festival national Science on Stage Switzerland 2020

Any individual or group of two with an original scientific experience to present in public can participate in the national selection process that takes place as part of the National Festival Science on Stage 2020. Projects can be accepted in biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics and informatics, from primary to high school.

People with innovative ideas in home schooling that have been developed during the last months are particularly encouraged to apply.

Programme:

10.30 – 10.45 Welcome and opening of the festival
10.45 – 12.30 The teams present their project on scene during 5 minutes
12.30 – 13.30 Lunch
13.30 – 14.45 Fair and Market
14.45 – 15:15 Workshop Science on Stage Switzerland – Simple Spectro (Luc and Océane Patiny) – Free visit of the Technorama
15.15 – 16.15 Workshop educatec (Vance Carter) – Free visit of the Technorama
16.15 – 16.45 Announcement of the 4 selected projects, end of the festival

If you don't want to present a project, but just want to benefit from the experience of your colleagues, you can participate in the festival as a visitor. The visitors will be able to visit the candidates' booths and watch the "on stage" presentations of each team's project. In addition, during the jury's deliberations, two workshops will be organised. A visit to the Technorama will also be possible (registration by email at sons@scnat.ch).
